First of all they chose a weak batch of girls this time around. And instead of keeping anyone with realistic shots of becoming a model, they got rid of them. This season, the judges have consistently made bad choice after bad choice. They are giving the lesser people unfair chances week after week. and booting the stronger girls for minor issues.

Case in point, on last night’s episode, it came down between Claire and Lauren. Claire granted didn’t take a stellar photo this week. But her picture was better than half of the girls she was up against. And next to Lauren’s image Claire was way better. The point is Claire didn’t have a great week, but didn’t deserve be sent home. Especially when they pitted her against an awkward, bumbling, idiot who can’t even walk and can’t pose. Her good photo’s that came out were out of pure luck and no skill.

Like I said neither are stellar but give me a break. One model who is consistently bad gets a second chance while the other model doesn’t even really do bad but doesn’t do great one time and she gets the boot?

Look how awkward Lauren is.

They cut off Claire’s hair because she did have a weird cut going in to the house. But they cut it all off and then dyed it this platinum blond. I didn’t agree to the cut at first but she really worked it which is the whole point of ANTM. Own what you are given to work with.

Speaking of hair, can someone please tell Tyra that that wig is not working anymore? She is forever and a day talking about having confidence and to work with your flaws. Bitch better come correct and rock that bald head she is hiding.

Also, this last episode did a good job to show fat discrimination. The one plus size model Whitney, who is not even a plus size girl (if you don’t have rolls and have a flat stomach you can’t be called plus size) was forced to deal with raging hypocrisies on “go sees.” The designers she met with loved her body and admired her figure, but then said we don’t use your type on the runway. One designer even went as far as to promote her clothes for the purpose to be worn by all women and body shapes but then said we don’t use plus size for the runway. WTF?

You call this plus size?

I am not sure why Tyra who is a big girl herself now, would show something like that on her show but then not say anything about it? She does love to pretend she is all about equality and not hurting anyones feelings after all. But they never seem to get the fat chicks back on ANTM. The fucked up thing is that Whitney isn’t even fat. But when she stands next to size 0 girls she looks massive and I think that’s fucked up. She has no rolls. and a flat stomach. She is a size 10. Plus size isn’t really plus until you start getting in to size 16. It’s outrageous where our standards have gone.
